‘acumen’, meaning the ability to make good judgements and take quick decisions.
With a background that includes both working as an end user and also supply side, Bernard originally set up Gunnersbury Consult to provide FM support primarily to TFM service providers. During 2015 Acumen FM was formed to provide a more tailored approach to end user organisations. Founder Bernard Crouch has been in the facility managing sector for 25 years working for the public, private and non-profit sectors. His core experience lies in STEM, tech, media, universities and local authorities working both in Europe and the Middle East.
Key projects include managing the fitting out of Tech Hub’s Moorgate building and working with Innovations Exeter, providing procurement support for buildings at Exeter University. Bernard has also been an active member and associated with the BIFM since their creation in 1992 being London chairman twice. He is also a tutor for BIFM Level 4 & 5 students.
Bernard is supported by a team of experienced professionals selected for their specific expertise including FM, Property, IT and HR.
Based in London, Bernard has completed projects across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
